My friends and I came here last Saturday as sort of a "grab a bite to eat/pregame spot" before going out. The first thing we noticed was how adorably cute the old school Italian decor was. The room itself was very tiny so it was a good thing we had a reservation because there were very minmal tables to host the line of people out the door.
Upon arriving, I had already scoped out the seperate gluten free menu the restaurant offered. Since I knew we had a long night ahead of us I knew I should carb up a bit but made sure not to get anything to totally upset my stomach. We ordered the spinach salad, tagliere di salumi e formaggi, and they got fried calamari (which we heard was a must but NOT GF) to start. I followed up by ordering the tagliatelle terra e mare and my goodness was it light and delicious.
John ordered the "The Namesake Pie (Numero 28)" which has truffle, a white sauce and prosciutto which he would not stop raving about.
I was so impressed with precisely how incredible everything tasted that I had to try out the gfree pizza the following day!
Talk about leaving a good impression :)
